Joey was rescued when he was 2 years old from a place where he was not allowed indoors, but other pets were. He'd sit in the harsh winter cold in a window planter and watch as the other pets had love, food, and a warm home. When I adopted him, he didn't even want to go outside because he was finally in a warm and loving home, with ample food. It took 4 years for him to recover from the mistreatment that the man in the other home inflicted, but now Joey is a balanced, happy cat! We adopted Georgie after we'd had Joey for about a year, and they are bestest friends. =)
